Tribbe also fills in the "lost years" of Jesus before he entered upon his public ministry and presents the thesis that Joseph of Arimathea was the "Apostle of Britain," introducing Christianity to the west before it reached Rome.

The details of daily life in the first century, descriptions of travel, accurate or plausible reconstructions of the Judaeo-Roman "postal system," coinage, business practices, languages, literacy and education, and ancient metallurgy, all bring this amazing story to life.

I just finnished this book. The facts in this book were great. I sear h for knowledge and pray for it. This was the greatest book, using true facts and a story line that was Bible background. The way this author wrote Christ's Passion was so amazing and passionate I cryed. I am now goi g to buy two copies oneto add to my libuary and onefor my son-in-law.

Jiri George Drobny, educated at the Technical University in Prague in Chemical Engineering (processing of plastics and elastomers) at the Institute of Polymer Science of the University of Akron (physics and engineering of polymers), and at Shippensburg State University (management and finance). His career spans over 35 years in the rubber and plastics processing industry in Europe, the US and Canada, mainly in R&D with senior and executive responsibilities. Currently, he is President of Drobny Polymer Associates an international consulting firm specialising in fluoropolymer science and technology, radiation processing and elastomer technology. Active as an educator, lecturer, author, and as technical and scientific translator. He is member of the Society of Plastic Engineers, American Chemical Society and SAMPE and is listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Plastics and Polymers, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, Who's Who in the East. He resides in New Hampshire.
